The great Gatsby was a story about a guy who thought him and the girl we’re in love but in reality she didn’t get it she didn’t care about him. He tried everything to get her but at the end he found out You can’t buy happiness but sometimes money can bring your torture with in yourself.

Gaspee’s desire for success to him was defined as loving Daisy but he love the version of her that wasn’t there anymore when he came back from war. she was a different person she changed along the years she married somebody who didn’t love her but that’s all she knew. Gatsby tried everything from giving her a big party the way he thought she would love it, he designed everything in this house for her but she just wanted the money and attention she didn’t love him she loved what he can get her. even after everything he went through to try to do everything for her she didn’t care. He sacrificed his own life his own identity to save her is when she ran over Mrs. Wilson. he didn’t care he thought he was doing it for love she just want to use him. This shows that people don’t care even in our society now just because you love somebody doesn’t mean they’re gonna love you back even if you do everything for them it doesn’t mean anything.
