down the rabbit hole
I started to read about Plato’s Two Charioteers: Free Will, Moral Agency, and How to Negotiate Our Capacities for Good and Evil and I started to realize maybe we don't have the freedom to make a choice just like we don't have a choice not to make one. I really liked the way they explained it as “Freedom isn’t the absence of control; rather, control is the essence of freedom.”
