Les Mis and The French Revolution
A connection of Les Mis and the revolution is when they are talking about how M. Myriel became bishop of D---. The person that made him a bishop was Napoleon. Napoleon was the last person that was involved in the revolution. Napoleon was still not banished to the island that they sent him to at the end of the revolution so if this was historical correct that would mean that Napoleon would have to be on the island and not on the streets of the town.
