Young Old Good Bad

I believe that Hawthorne wrote the story of "Young Goodman Brown" to show us that even if we believe that we know the people around us they can change in a second. I think Stephen King was affected by the story because maybe he had a similier experience like someone not being what he thought they were. The power of our imagination can make us believe what we want it to believe like how he believed that the devil was talking to him in the woods but it was just a dream or like when we believe people and imagine them as good when they really are bad.
