M. Myriel was always the one that would give to the poor, sick and afflicted before he used the money on himself. when he had money he would go visit the poor but when he didn't have money to give he would visit the rich. he would always eat the same thing that he ate for breakfast but rarely more than boiled vegetable or bread warmed in oil, but he did have special meals like fish from the lake or some. most of the time he would be alone.
